First Annual RMDS Lesson Fundraiser
Please Read All Information
We are excited to bring you the list of amazing trainers who are dedicated in helping RMDS raise money for our scholarships and organization! This would not have happened without THEIR support, and we are VERY grateful to all those trainers who have donated lessons!
You will be able to purchase a donated lesson (or more) from these trainers once the fundraiser GOES LIVE (see date/time below). Here is your chance to try a new trainer, learn from a different perspective or purchase from your current trainer. All proceeds go to RMDS!
This Fundraiser will go live at 9:00AM MST on Monday, April 25, 2022. Lessons are FIRST COME FIRST SERVE with payment via the RMDS ONLINE PAYMENT (PAYPAL) page. You will be responsible for sending correct (and full) amount AND trainer name in DESCRIPTION BOX. All lessons must be paid for IN FULL. In the event that lesson is already purchased, your payment will be refunded. First payment received (with correct payment amount and trainer name in description box) will be considered “first” purchaser of the lesson(s).
Disclaimers:
- Some trainers are at facilities with haul in fees. You will be responsible for paying that additional fee to trainer/facility.
- Some trainers offer school horses and there may be an additional fee for use of a school horse. You will be responsible for paying that additional fee to trainer.
- You and the trainer(s) will be responsible for scheduling the purchased lesson(s).
- RMDS is not endorsing any trainers and the organization is not liable for any issues in the fulfillment of lessons.
- Information about each trainer has been provided by the trainer.
- We ask that all lessons be scheduled (i.e., “redeemed”) by October 1, 2022.

Laura presently competes in upper level dressage and has many students who have earned their USDF Bronze and Silver medals. In addition to earning her own Bronze and Silver USDF medals, Laura is an ARIA and ICP certified instruction. She was also ARIA instructor of the year.

JOAN CLAY
Joan’s dressage training philosophy follows the classical dressage training scale with an emphasis on strong basic skills for both horse and rider. She helps each rider become self-sufficient in accomplishing their goals by giving them the tools to improve their ability to ride. In addition to having earned USDF Bronze and Silver medals, Joan is USDF Certified Training-1st Level.

Carol believes that riding is a lifelong learning process that promotes constant evolution and growth. SHANNON DAHMER
Shannon has trained several horses up through the Grand Prix level and has placed top ten at the USDF dressage finals. She enjoys the journey of training horses up the levels from training to Grand Prix. SIMONE WINDELER
Simone has been judging since 2004 as an USDF L graduate and is now licensed with USEF as an R in Western Dressage, currently the highest level of judging in that discipline. She has managed numerous Regional Championships in Colorado and Utah that are USEF/USDF/AQHA/RMDS and UDS recognized. As President of Rocky Mountain Dressage Society, Pikes Peak Dressage Society, and the Colorado Springs Dressage Association, she has introduced many new ideas and helped shape these organizations. In addition, she was chosen as an international advisor to the Rodeo Association in Colorado Springs. Simone is a certified instructor with RMS Classical Riding Academy in Germany, and an avid student of Science in Motion and Ride from Within. Her riding and teaching are based on thorough understanding of biomechanics. Simone has experience working with Adult Amateurs as well as with beginners. She also specializes in working with PRE horses. Lessons are 45 minutes in length.
