Welcome to Parker, the 2004 RMDS Championships and Cosequin/USDF/RMDS
Breeders' Championship. Please take a few minutes to review the following
important information.
Ride Times are tentative. Please check class sheets posted at the office when you check in the verify your times. Show Office Hours: Wednesday - 12:00 p.m. to 7:00pm Thursday - 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday - 6:30 a.m. to 7p.m. Saturday - 6:30 a.m. to 7:00p.m., and Sunday - 6:30 a.m. to 6:30p.m. VS CHECK - All horses will be checked for Vesicular Stomatitis upon entering the show grounds. Please allow extra time before your rides to accommodate for this. Any suspect horses will be checked by a veterinarian. All horse must be unloaded before they will be checked, so please be sure you have enough bodies to hold the horses you are bringing. The facility will be open for trailers during the following times:
If you are planning on arriving before or after these established times, please call Heather at 719-338-0854 or Linda at 719-238-7665 and let us know so someone can be there to check your horse. Please use only the stalls and/or paddocks you have reserved! We will be checking all stalls and paddocks several times throughout each day - penalties will be incurred. If you would like to add or change your stabling, please check availability in the office. Special Awards - We will be giving out gift baskets in recognition of some special awards. Come to show office for more information and to nominate daily someone you love! We will be awarding many high point awards. If you did not send in your breed papers, please bring them to the show office in order to be eligible for awards! Competitors PARTY!!! Competitors will receive tickets to the party in their packets. Markel Insurance and RMDS are hosting this fun Bar-B-Que at the barns. Music, food, soda and enjoyment will be available to all! Additional tickets for sale in the show office. Championship Educational Symposium - There will be a wonderful educational event Thursday from 1pm to 5pm at the Colorado Horse Park Main Office. Marilyn Heath will present a program on moving a horse up through the levels with correct basics. Handouts, videos and live demonstration will all be part of the program. Bone up before the show and enjoy this program from the head of the L program faculty. Cost is $25 at the door for RMDS members.
